Welcome To My Blog!

Hello!  To start off with, here is a little bit about me and my adventures with Stellar Kitty Designs:

My name is Jessica and I am a work from home mom, wife, student, artist, and business owner.  There are more hats that I wear, but that list could go on forever!  My wonderful children are ages 2 and 8, and extremely active boys (both physically and mentally).  All of my guys are wonderful!  We live in Colorado Springs, CO where my husband (who is also my best friend and favorite critic) is currently stationed with the Army, and I am pursuing a degree in Geophysics (from which I frequently derive inspiration for my paintings).   

Stellar Kitty Designs was created because I could not find what I wanted in the stores for the price that I desired.  This has been a problem for me in jewelry and fashion for the better part of my life.  I began designing my own costumes when I was seven, and by the time that I was in high school I was sketching formal designs.  My mother was very busy but encouraged this by being wonderful enough to make what I drew into reality.  Perhaps this is why I adore custom design so much.

Because of my military connection, I am very sensitive to the difficulties that people face trying to get packages to APO addresses.  Regardless of whether or not you are having your purchase shipped to an US or APO address, I still offer free USPS Priority shipping on orders over $50.  For local purchases, I can waive the shipping fee and hand deliver if that is the preference.
